E28 525i 1984 Manual
This 525i was rescued from scrap after it was wrongly diagnosed with head gasket failure. The cam shaft had suffered 4mm of wear on the front lobe which accounted for its lack of power. Possibly the only Basalt Blue E28 left in the country? This car was sold to be used by its new owner as daily transport.

FLO, our fabricator’s introductions to E28’s and his first engine swap, now being used as a daily in trendy Shoreditch.

Probably the nicest E32 we’ve had. Although back in the ownership of a central London dweller, its now more accustomed to Jazz and trips to Holland than it is the trading index.

525e super ETA
By far the nicest E28 we have seen, this rare super ETA with dealer fit PFEBA body kit has been snapped up by a classic car collector.

E28 525e 1987
Had been parked on a ramp collecting dust for 10 years.
E28 525e 1987
Pulled off a driveway where it had been sat since 2010. Now in daily service.
E24 635 csi manual
A labour of love. Restored and constantly improved over many years. One of our own cars. Sold and being used as regular transport.
E34 535i manual
Bought blind as a donor for a manual gearbox conversion this car is the original grave dodger. It has narrowly avoided being scrapped twice, I have personally owned it three times and it thankfully now resides in the care of a local customer.

E32 730i 1989
220k on the clock and on its second LPG conversion. I still regret selling this car.
E28 525i
This manual 525i had spent almost all of its life under the care of one man. Due to ill health the car sat undriven for years and narrowly avoided scrap when we rescued it for restoration. "A tear rolled down his face as he recalled hitting a ton in it for the last time"
In my opinion this is one of the finest colour combinations available for an E28: Diamond Schwartz metallic over pearl beige leather. Put simply it is a class act.

Our first experience of an M10 powered car. This cracking 518i was a smart choice for a practical classic

E32 730i manual
This superb E32 was so good I actually drove it as my own transportation for 6 months. I wasn't even really advertising it, save for two pictures on the website when an eagle eyed buyer from Ireland snapped it up. I was genuinely a bit gutted to see this one go.
E28 528i se
Early build date 528i se in stunning Bahama Beige. Sold to a professor who had been looking for an E28 for some time. He’d even been renting a garage to keep one in for months before happening across our website and paying us a visit.

E34 535i se
Belonging to non other than rebound children author and WW2 fighter pilot Roald Dahl. Ordered by Roald Dahl shortly before he died and as such he never actually drove it, ordering this Malachite green 535i with special order crimson leather no doubt helped take his mind off of the illness that he eventually died from in 1990. We are proud to have been able to return this amazing car to the road and now resides with our favourite London based Jazz musician.
E34 535i se manual
This unusual specced 535i manual gearbox car was fitted with bot AC and cruise control, a some what unusual specification for a manual car. Fastidiously cared for by its owner for 19 years, we had the pleasure of transitioning its owner from one engineer to another. The superb BMW engineering clearly holding its appeal to those that appreciate well made things.

E28 M535i
One of the first projects to get listed on the website and the first subject of our blog. Sadly we never got round to finishing and as our standards have grown we decided that although this is a very presentable and solid car the welding done by the previous body shop would need to be addressed if it was going to be sold as a Bahnstormers car, so it was sold as an unfinished project to an enthusiastic individual who will hopefully see it through.

E23 732i
This car has led a fantastic life. Exported to Panama immediately after being punched where it spent most of its life, repatriated on the death of its owner it was then used to commute from Salisbury to London everyday before being donated to the Attwell Wilson motor museum. Sold by them It was passed around before sadly being sold for scrap where we swopped in and saved it. Now being appreciated and used regularly by a successful entrepreneur.

E28 520i
The first car from the Bahnstormers 9 to be completed. See our blog page for details on the Bahnstormers 9. 1 of 9 E28’s found in a barn. We bought all 9 cars and this was the first one we put back on the road.
After sitting for more than a decade, we went through this car front to back and top to bottom as it was destined to become a daily driver for a great and enthusiastic client. Replacing a brand new 3 series and once again serving as executive transport.

E28 520i
Very cool early car, one of the Bahnstomers 9 (see our blog page for more details of the Bahnstormers 9) 1 of 9 E28’s found in barn we bought them all and have re-homed as many as possible.
This stunning Kasmir gold car was sold as a project to an enthusiast who wanted to enjoy restoring the car himself.

Freddie 5 series
This is the car that started it all, the first E28 I ever owned! Swapped for a VW Corrado with my brother in law. This lowly 520i’s charm and marvellous engineer hooked me in. Given the name Freddie by a good friends daughter on a retro day out it was adopted and continued by a good buddy of mine who ran and enjoyed it for almost 10 years and did me the great honour of letting us find it a new home in 2020
